From July 16 to July 25, Hindukush Explorers brought together a extraordinary team of young adventurers on a historic mission across Pakistan’s most breathtaking landscapes.

Led by Aahil Daniyal who made history as the youngest boy to conquer three base camps across three distinct mountain ranges alongside three fearless young girls, these "Little Champs" set out to achieve what few attempt:
🏔️ Mission Himalaya Conquering the legendary Nanga Parbat Base Camp
🏔️ Mission Karakoram — Trekking to the towering Rakaposhi Base Camp
🏔️ Mission Hindu Kush — Navigating the high-altitude Chumurkhan Pass

🌍 Climbing for Climate Action
This expedition was far more than a feat of physical endurance; it was a pledge for climate awareness. As Pakistan’s glaciers face the rising threats of global climate change, these young ambassadors carried a message of conservation, sustainability, and environmental stewardship from the valleys to the highest peaks.

🕊️💔 ہمارے پیارے بھائی، سہیل سخی کی محبت بھری یاد میں 🏔️

کچھ لوگ پہاڑوں پر صرف چوٹی سر کرنے کے لیے چڑھتے ہیں۔ مگر سہیل سخی پہاڑوں پر اس لیے چڑھتے تھے کیونکہ پہاڑ اُن کی روح کا حصہ تھے۔

آج ہندوکش ایکسپلوررز انتہائی رنج و غم کے ساتھ اپنے ایک عزیز دوست، نڈر کوہ پیما، اور پہاڑوں کے سچے عاشق کو الوداع کہہ رہا ہے۔ براڈ پیک کے المناک سانحے میں سہیل سخی کی شہادت نے ہمارے دلوں میں ایسا خلا چھوڑ دیا ہے جسے الفاظ میں بیان کرنا ممکن نہیں۔

سہیل ہمارے لیے صرف ایک ساتھی دوست نہیں تھے، بلکہ ایک بھائی تھے۔ پاکستان کے شمالی علاقوں، خصوصاً خوبصورت ہنزہ میں اپنے پیشہ ورانہ سفر کے دوران اُن کے ساتھ گزارے گئے بے شمار خوبصورت اور ناقابلِ فراموش لمحات ہمیشہ ہماری یادوں کا حصہ رہیں گے۔ ہر مہم میں اُن کی مسکراہٹ، حوصلہ، خلوص، اور پہاڑوں سے بے مثال محبت ہم سب کے لیے حوصلہ افزائی کا ذریعہ تھی۔

سہیل ہمیشہ بڑے خواب دیکھتے تھے۔ اُن کی زندگی کا سب سے بڑا خواب دنیا کی تمام 14 آٹھ ہزار میٹر سے بلند چوٹیوں کو اپنے منفرد انداز، عزم اور جذبے کے ساتھ سر کرنا تھا۔ اُن کی بہادری، عاجزی، بلند حوصلہ اور انتھک محنت ہر اُس شخص کے لیے مشعلِ راہ ہے جس نے اُن کے ساتھ گزارے۔

اگرچہ آج وہ ہمارے درمیان موجود نہیں، مگر اُن کے قدموں کے نشان ہمیشہ اُن پہاڑوں پر باقی رہیں گے جن سے وہ بے پناہ محبت کرتے تھے، اور اُن کی یاد آنے والی نسلوں کے کوہ پیماؤں کو ہمیشہ بلند خواب دیکھنے اور ہمت کے ساتھ آگے بڑھنے کی ترغیب دیتی رہے گی۔

ہندوکش ایکسپلوررز سہیل سخی کے اہلِ خانہ، دوستوں، ساتھیوں، اور براڈ پیک کے اس المناک سانحے میں جان کی قربانی دینے والے تمام بہادر کوہ پیماؤں کے لواحقین سے دلی تعزیت اور ہمدردی کا اظہار کرتا ہے۔

🤲 اللہ تعالیٰ سہیل سخی اور تمام مرحوم کوہ پیماؤں کی کامل مغفرت فرمائے، انہیں جنت الفردوس میں اعلیٰ مقام عطا فرمائے، اور ان کے اہلِ خانہ کو صبرِ جمیل، حوصلہ اور سکونِ قلب عطا فرمائے۔ آمین۔

پہاڑ ہمیشہ تمہاری بہادری کو یاد رکھیں گے۔ تمہاری دوستی ہمیشہ ہمارے دلوں میں زندہ رہے گی۔ تم اس دنیا سے رخصت ضرور ہوئے ہو، مگر تمہارا جذبہ ہر سفر پر ہمارے ساتھ زندہ رہے گا۔

🕊️ The Mountains Have Lost a Legend 🏔️
A Tribute to Nirmal "Nimsdai" Purja
Some people climb mountains. A few redefine what humanity believes is possible. Nirmal "Nimsdai" Purja was one of those rare souls.
Born into a humble family in Nepal, Nimsdai's journey began far from the world's highest summits. Through unwavering determination, he served with honor in the Gurkhas and later in the United Kingdom's elite Special Boat Service (SBS). But his greatest mission was still ahead—to inspire the world from the highest mountains on Earth.
🏔️ His legacy will forever be written in the history of mountaineering:
🌍 Climbed all 14 of the world's 8,000-meter peaks in only 189 days, achieving one of the greatest records in human endurance and adventure.
❄️ Helped lead the historic first winter ascent of K2 in 2021 with the all-Nepali team, accomplishing what many believed was impossible.
⛑️ Risked his own life on countless rescue missions, proving that a true mountaineer is measured not only by the summits reached, but by the lives saved.
🎬 Inspired millions across the globe through "14 Peaks: Nothing Is Impossible," reminding every dreamer that courage has no limits.
Today, as we mourn the loss of this extraordinary climber, our hearts are also with the victims of the Broad Peak tragedy. The recent disaster has taken precious lives and left families, friends, and the global mountaineering community in profound grief. It is a painful reminder that while mountains offer unmatched beauty and adventure, they also demand the ultimate respect.
🤲 We pray for Nirmal "Nimsdai" Purja and every climber who lost their life on Broad Peak. May Almighty Allah grant them eternal peace, elevate their ranks, and give strength and patience to their families. We also pray for the safety of every rescuer and mountaineer who continues to venture into the high mountains. Ameen.
Mountains never forget those who climb them with courage. Though Nimsdai's footsteps may disappear beneath the snow, his spirit will live forever in every summit, every expedition, and every dream inspired by his remarkable life.

Hindukush Explorers is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Omani mountaineer Nadhira Al Harthy in the Broad Peak avalanche.
Our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, teammates, and the people of Oman.
We also pray for all the climbers affected by this tragedy. May Allah protect those involved in the rescue mission, grant patience to the grieving families, and shower His mercy upon all those who lost their lives.

The rescue team fly to Broad Peak.

Pakistan's pride, Sirbaz Khan is leading the rescue mission to Broad Peak in search of the climbers who went missing after the devastating avalanche.

Joining him is Shahzad Karim, one of Pakistan's most experienced mountaineers, who recently successfully summited Gasherbrum II (8,035m). Having just completed an 8,000-meter ascent, he is fully acclimatized and has now stepped forward to support this critical rescue operation.

A true mountaineer is defined not only by the summits they conquer, but by the lives they are willing to risk to save.

May Allah protect Sirbaz Khan, Shahzad Karim, and the entire rescue team. May He grant them strength, safety, and success, and bring all the missing climbers home safely.

🚨 Hindukush Explorers News Update

10 Climbers from 5 Countries Missing After Broad Peak Avalanche

The Hindukush Explorers team is deeply concerned by reports of a tragic avalanche on Broad Peak (8,047m) in Pakistan's Karakoram Range, where 10 climbers from five countries have been reported missing.

The missing climbers include:
🇳🇵 Nepal – 6 climbers
🇴🇲 Oman – 1 climber
🇵🇰 Pakistan – 1 climber
🇨🇳 China – 1 climber
🇺🇸 United States – 1 climber

Pakistan Army Aviation has launched a major search and rescue mission, deploying two rescue helicopters, highly trained rescue personnel, and specialized equipment to support ground teams operating in the extremely challenging high-altitude environment.

Broad Peak is among the world's most demanding 8,000-meter mountains, where rescue operations are exceptionally difficult due to severe weather, avalanche hazards, and extreme altitude.

On behalf of Hindukush Explorers , we extend our heartfelt prayers and solidarity with the missing climbers, their families, rescue teams, and the entire international mountaineering community. We sincerely hope for a safe and successful outcome of the ongoing rescue efforts.
