A devastating avalanche on Broad Peak (8,051m) in Gilgit-Baltistan struck an international climbing expedition comprising mountaineers from Nepal, Pakistan, China, the United States, and Oman.

Authorities have confirmed that four bodies have been recovered.

An avalanche struck an expedition team on Broad Peak (8,047m) in Pakistan's Karakoram range yesterday, raising serious concerns about the safety of all members.

According to initial reports, the expedition consists of 10 climbers: five Nepalese mountaineers led by renowned climber Nims Dai, Pakistani climber Sohail Sakhi from Hunza, one climber each from Oman, the United States, and China (Mr. Wang), along with another foreign climber.

Since the avalanche, the entire team has reportedly lost communication, and their current status remains unknown. Rescue efforts and further updates are awaited.

Our thoughts are with the climbers, their families, and everyone involved in the rescue operation.

گزشتہ روز براڈ پیک (8,047 میٹر) پر ایک برفانی تودہ گرنے کے باعث 10 رکنی بین الاقوامی کوہ پیمائی ٹیم سے رابطہ منقطع ہونے کی اطلاعات موصول ہوئی ہیں۔

ابتدائی اطلاعات کے مطابق اس ٹیم میں معروف نیپالی کوہ پیما نمز دائی (Nims Dai) کی قیادت میں پانچ نیپالی کوہ پیما، پاکستان کے ضلع ہنزہ سے تعلق رکھنے والے کوہ پیما سہیل ساقی، عمان سے ایک کوہ پیما، امریکہ سے ایک، چین سے مسٹر وانگ (Mr. Wang)، جبکہ ایک اور غیر ملکی کوہ پیما شامل ہیں۔
