Ondra Poygah Trail Illuminated by a Community-Built Micro Hydropower Project

The Ondra Poygah trail now shines bright, powered by a 5kW micro hydropower project built on a natural stream by Engr. Tanveer, a self-taught engineer from Gulmit.

Tanveer, along with a team of dedicated volunteers, worked tirelessly day and night to bring light to the trail. The entire project was completed on a self-help basis, showcasing the power of community effort and innovation.

Today, in the stillness of the night, the Ondra Poygah trail glows as a beacon of resilience and collective spirit.
