We are pleased to announce our Adventure Activities Program for Summer 2026. We specialize in professionally guided trekking adventures, high-altitude mountaineering expeditions, cultural and scenic tours, as well as basic mountaineering and ice climbing training courses, all led by experienced local guides and instructors with deep knowledge of the region.

For Summer 2026, our guided programs include some of the most iconic journeys in the Karakoram, such as the K2 Base Camp& GG La Trek, Shimshal Pass Trek, Magata Pass Trek, Rush Lake & Rakaposhi Base Camp Trek, and climbing expeditions including Minglik Sar, Laila Peak, and Shifkten Sar. In addition, we offer scenic and cultural tours to Deosai Plains, Fairy Meadows, and Hunza Valley, along with seasonal highlights such as the Hunza Cherry Blossom Tour and Taghm festival at Shimshal valley. the Gilgit–Baltistan Autumn Tour, ideal for nature lovers and photographers.

We also organize high-altitude expeditions to 7,000-meter and 8,000-meter peaks in Pakistan, along with technical and challenging trekking routes designed for experienced trekkers and mountaineers. These include classic and demanding crossings such as Snow Lake & Lukpe La, Khudopin Pass, Chafchingol Pass, Shimshal Shipodin pass, Sim La Pass, Hispar La Pass, and other remote high passes of the Karakoram and Himalaya. Each program is carefully planned with a strong emphasis on safety, acclimatization, logistics, and professional mountain leadership.

Minglik Sar Summit Update – 11th August 2025

On 11th August 2025, Shams Alpine Mountaineering & Trekking Pvt Ltd proudly led a team of 11 climbers to the summit of Minglik Sar (6,050m) in the stunning Shimshal Pamir region of the Karakoram, Pakistan. For most members, this was their first-ever 6000m summit — a remarkable milestone of endurance, resilience, and teamwork.

And our youngest climber, Adam (age 13), whose courage and strength are a true inspiration for the younger generation.

This success was made possible by our incredible support team. Special thanks to Mr. Amin Ullah Baig and Mr. Shaheen Baig for their guidance, our climbing staff — Madad Ali Shah, Shahzad Karim, Aziz, and Sajid Muhammad — for ensuring safety and success, and our ever-cheerful chef Bakhti Bhai, who kept spirits high with his delicious meals.

We are also deeply grateful to the Shimshal porters, the true heroes of the mountains, whose strength and dedication carried this journey forward.
