Chicken biryani / boneless chicken biryani serving of 15 persons
Ingredients:
Air fried onions 1 cup
Yogurt 1/2 cup
Mint leaves 1/4 cup
Ginger garlic paste 2 table sp
Green pepper 1 tea sp
Tomato paste 1 cup
Salt 2 table sp
Paprika 2 table sp
Corriander powder 2 table sp
Haldi 1/2 table sp
Dried fenugreek leaves 1 tea sp
Cumin powder 1 table sp
Shan biryani masala 1 table sp / according to your taste
Boneless Chicken 4 pounds
Step 2
Cloves 4
Whole black pepper 1 tea sp
Taiz patta 2
Mint leaves few
Zeera 1 tea sp
Rice 4 cups
Step 3:
Curry
Oil 1 cup
Potatoes 3 medium size
Marinated chicken
Garnish:
Lemons 2 slices
Mint leaves
Green chillies
Air fried onions
Yellow food color
Procedure:
Step 1:
Marination:
Mix onions, green chillies, mint leaves, ginger garlic paste and all powder ed spices well. Marinate wash and drained chicken In it. Refrigerate over night.
Step 2:
Boiled rice :
Let's boil rice.
Add cloves, taiz patta, whole black pepper, zeera and salt in water. Add some mint leaves and add rice. Cook rice 75 - 80% at this point.
Drain rice and set aside.
Step 3:
Biryani masala:
Let's prepare biryani masala curry now.
Add oil and fry potatoes for 5 - 7 minutes in it.
When they get slightly golden add marinated chicken in it.
I prepared chicken in 2 batches for ease.
Cook 15 min at high flame the cover for 10 minutes till potatoes and chicken is fully cooked.
Set side.
Step 4:
Layering
Add some oil in bottom of pan and add a layer of chicken. Add a layer of rice on it. Add fried onions, green chillies and again add chicken layer and rice layer.
Garnish with mint, onions, chilies and add yellow/ orange food color.
Put on dum on low flame for 10 minutes.
Delicious and everyone's favorite chicken biryani is ready. Serve with mint raita. Serve hot.
