Blind Lake Shigar 🇵🇰
Blind Lake is a beautiful natural lake located in the Shigar Valley of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. The lake is situated at an altitude of about 9,000 feet above sea level and is surrounded by tall mountains and greenery.

The lake is called Blind Lake because the depth of lake is unknown yet. Thers are some more certain myths regarding the name. The lake is reachable by car and worth it as the lake is a breathtaking sight to behold. The water of the lake is crystal clear and reflects the surrounding mountains, making it a perfect spot for photography.

The lake is also home to a variety of fish, including trout, which makes it a popular spot for fishing. Visitors can also enjoy boating and camping near the lake. The area around the lake is rich in flora and fauna, with a variety of trees, plants, and animals.

The best time to visit Blind Lake is during the summer months, from May to September, when the weather is pleasant and the lake is accessible. However, visitors should be prepared for cold nights, as temperatures can drop significantly at night.

Basho Meadows is located on the top of Basho Valley, Skardu District, Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan.
The stunning beauty was unexplored and totally unknown to the world till 1892. The critics say, 'William Martin Conway', a british mountaineer discovered this valley very first time.
It is narrated that Conway chose this name inspired by Japanese poet, 'Mutsuo Basho'. However, in Balti language 'Basho' means resin of grapes. The valley is famous for its delicious grapes so this name suits it.
Basho Meadows is easily accessible from Skardu City by jeep.
Most importantly, Basho is famous for snow capped mountains around it, pine trees, lush greenery, beautiful streams, Basho Waterfall and Basho Chocolaty Rocks in Basho Valley.Credit for the photos goes to:

Deosai word is derived from Balti language, which means land of a Giant. This word is referred to the folk tale immortalised by Mian Muhammad Baksh in his poem, "Saif al-Mulook"; the word 'Deosai' means 'the Shadow of the Giant'.
Balti people also named this 'Ghbiarsa' means 'Summer's Place' because it is only accessible in summer.
The Deosai National Park is located in western Himalayas in Gilgit Baltistan (GB), Pakistan. It has an average elevation of 4,114 metres (13,497 ft) above sea level, making the Deosai Plains the second highest plateau in the world.The park protects an area of 843 square kilometres (325 sq mi). It is well known for its rich flora and fauna of the Karakoram ranges enriched with thousand kinds of wild flowers and wide variety of butterflies.
Deosai is accessible from Astore District in the west, Skardu District in the north. The distance from Skardu City is 30 km, which is the shortest route to visit Deosai. Another route is from Astore valley via Chilim.Deosai.
The natural beauty of the national park is incomparable because of its geographical significance. Tourists all over the world visit here is experience it's enthusiastic views. The most famous things to see in Deosai is Sheosar Lakes, marmots and the wild flowers.
However, by recent development tourists can stay here overnight and enjoy quality glamping.
