A tragic avalanche on Broad Peak, one of the world’s highest mountains in Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan region, has resulted in the deaths of climbers. Rescue authorities have completed search and recovery operations, while condolences continue to pour in from the international mountaineering community.
Broad Peak, standing at 8,051 meters, is among the world’s fourteen 8,000-meter peaks and attracts climbers from across the globe every year.
