Gashabrum II Expedition 2025

The 13th highest mountain in the world, standing at 8,035 meters (26,362 feet) above sea level. It is part of the Gashabrum massif, located in the Karakoram range on the border between Pakistan and China. The name "Gashabrum" comes from the Balti language, meaning "Shining Wall," which refers to the highly visible face of Gashabrum IV.

Gasherbrum II is considered one of the more accessible 8,000-meter peaks for climbers, though it still presents significant challenges due to its high altitude, extreme weather conditions, and technical climbing sections. It was first successfully summited on July 7, 1956, by an Austrian expedition led by Fritz Moravec, Josef Larch, and Hans Willenpart.

The mountain is often climbed as part of the "Gashabrum Twin Peaks" expedition, which includes both Gashabrum I (8,080 meters) and Gashabrum II. It is a popular destination for experienced mountaineers seeking to summit one of the world's highest peaks.

Broad Peak Expedition 2025!

Broad Peak is the 12th highest mountain in the world, standing at 8,047 meters (26,401 feet) above sea level. It is located in the Karakoram range on the border between Pakistan and China. Broad Peak is part of the Gasherbrum massif, which includes several other high peaks.

The mountain was first climbed on June, 1957, by an Austrian expedition led by Marcus Schmuck. The name "Broad Peak" comes from its long, broad summit ridge, which is over 1.5 kilometers (0.93 miles) long.
