Seventh Program of "Tracking Criminals in Digital Space" in form of one day Seminar was held in Police Institute of IT, Peshawar on April 30, 2019. Program was aimed at improving digital and investigative skills of our law enforcement agencies in times of 4th industrial revolution.

Seminar was co-chaired by Dr. Fasih ud Din, DIG Training KP Police and Mr. Ammar Jaffri, President NIMIS. Mr. Abbas Ansari - CEO, NIMIS was speaker at the Seminar and topic of his talk was "Digital Space: Challenges & Solutions".

Program "Tracking Criminals in Digital Space" is a joint Program of PISA, NIMIS and Security Experts and it is being rolled-out all across Pakistan in partnership with national law enforcement agencies.

NIMIS is pleased to publish Report of RegTech Panel Discussion happened on April 06, 2019 in Quaid e Azam Auditorium, IIU Islamabad during TechBiz Leaders Summit. Panelists were from State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and National University of Science and Technology (NUST).

RegTech Dialogue is innovative in its form and it is the suggested Dialogue laying foundations of Regulatory Technologies in Pakistan.

Completed another Program "Tracking Criminals in Digital Age" for beneficiaries of NAB, FIA and ANF.
Team NIMIS has completed Six Programs in the row for the capacity building of our Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs). This Program is funded by ICITAP Pakistan, implemented by Security Experts and NIMIS and facilitated by FIA Academy.

A Panel Discussion was organized by NIMIS on April 06, 2019 during Global TechBiz Leaders Summit in Quaid-e-Azam Auditorium, IIUI, Islamabad.

Theme of the Discussion was "RegTech: A Suggested Gateway for State during 4th Industrial Revolution" . Panelists were:
1. Mr. Abdul Rahim Ahmad from Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan
2. Mr. Ali Saqib from State Bank of Pakistan
3. Mr. Rafay Baloch from Pakistan Telecommunication Authority
4. Dr. Taha Ali from SEECS - NUST

Session was moderated by Adv. Zeeshan Riaz, he is Digital Crimes Lawyer. Purpose of the Discussion was to brainstorm and propose different tech-solutions for regulatory purposes. It was also the purpose of the Discussion to clear few confusions within industry in application of certain technologies.

Takeaway of the Discussion was the suggested fusion of regulatory and technology while entering into 4IR and this process should be initiated by State Institutions, and it should be based upon technologies like artificial intelligence and blockchain for transparency and authenticity.

Soon, NIMIS will issue a Report on this particular subject for consideration of State and Industry at large. The Discussion is continued.....
