Naltar is a valley near Gilgit , Hunza and Nomal, Gilgit Baltistan in the Gilgit–Baltistan province of Pakistan. Naltar is 40 km (25 mi) from Gilgit and can be reached by jeeps. Naltar is a forested (pine) village known for its wildlife and magnificent mountain scenery. Now the communication is available by the efforts of Pakistan army signal corps (SCO special communication organization). There are ski lifts under the 'Ski Federation of Pakistan'. Transport is available from Gilgit to Naltar but during a specific time after that own arrangement.

Attabad Lake in Hunza - In January 2010, a massive landslide blocked the flow of River Hunza, creating a natural dam and burying 20 people beneath it. The rising water displaced thousands of residents and submerged countless villages, fields, orchards as well as a 19-kilometre stretch of the Karakoram Highway (KKH). A spillway was created to release a steady flow of water and as the water receded, it revealed the orchards that had been buried beneath.

Recently we visited Gilgit Baltistan. Nagar is a beautiful valley. The Hopar Valley is a scenic portion of the Nagar Valley in northern Pakistan. It is about 10 km away from Nagar Khas. Hopar Valley is the site of the Spantik and Hopar (Hopper) glaciers.

Funtastic Four spent 3 days with orphans of AJK. Who lost either their father or mother in earthquake 2005. Danish Muslim Aid (DM-Aid) and Karwan Development Foundation (KDF) sponsor these orphans and afford their basic expenses.

Great cause, Beautiful place and awesome company. We volunteered with KDF on an exposure trip for the orphans. We all enjoyed every moment be it nature, inspiring children, enlightened discussions, qawwalis, late night sittings, early morning meditation, jokes and what not.

Early Morning hike started from Barri Imam's shrine - climbing up the special tree, singing songs by the water and sudden plan to hike further uptil Loh e Dandi was great. Even better was to spend some time in the cave after all the effort - worth it.

The first ever trip organized by Funtastic Four. It was a day trip to Mukshpuri. This is a 3 hours safe hill trek to Mushkpuri Top and is the second highest hill of Galiyat at 9452 feet/3150 meters above sea level approximately.

This trek starts from the Pines Hotel in Nathigali spiralling upwards through the beautiful green pine forest displaying natural beauty. Hikers on their way to Mushkpuri top are presented with colorful fairy fragmented carpet of flowers in the green Meadows of Mushkpuri. It is a good trek for families to go out and enjoy the beautiful natural pine forest of Galyat. There is a very small water spring at the top. Also you can see scenic Kashmir valley from Mushkpuri Top.
