As part of the trophy hunting programme a hunter from Spain has paid $85,300 to hunt ibex (markhor) in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB).

The hunting fees for different local species were decided in November last year as the Gilgit-Baltistan Wildlife department auctioned off the permits for Markhor for $83,500. In 2018-19, the hunters paid $110,000 for hunting the animal.

کیا یہ اونٹ کونہیں دیکھتےاس کوکیسے پیدا کیاگیا:
"ھیام" اونٹ کولگنے والی ایک بیماری کا نام ہے اس بیماری کے لگنے پراونٹ کھانا پینا ترک کرکے مرتے دم تک مشرق سے مغرب تک سورج کو دیکھتا رہتا ہے، اس کا علاج سانپ کونگلنا ہے۔
یہ بھی معروف ہے کہ بعض دفعہ خود اونٹ سانپ کوکھالیتا ہے جس کے زہر کی وجہ اس کو شدید پیاس لگتی ہے اور اس کی آنکھوں سے آنسو نکلتے ہیں اور ان آنسووں کو چمڑے کی چھوٹی تھیلی میں محفوظ کیا جاتا ہے یہ آنسو دوسرے آنسوں سے مختلف ہوتے ہیں کیونکہ یہ آنسو سانپ کے ڈسنے کا مجرب"تریاق"ہیں۔
سبحان اللہ قرآن کریم کہتا ہے:( فشاربون شرب الھیم)"جہنمی پیاسے اونٹ کی طرح(کھولتا ہوا پانی) پئیں گے" گویا کہ انہوں نے سانپ کا زہر کھایا ہوا ہے اور اونٹ کے پیاس کے اس بیماری کو"ھیام" کہا جاتا ہے۔ اور اللہ فرماتا ہے:( افلاینظرون الی الابل کیف خلقت)" کیا یہ اونٹ کو نہیں دیکھتے جس کوکیسے پیدا کیا گیا"۔

Good going .

"Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree long time ago."

Tree plantation combats many environmental issues like deforestation, global warming and hence enhancing the beauty and balance of the environment. Keeping the importance of planting trees in mind 'Go Green Day 'was organised on 9th May.

Students of Senior Section brought plants with them. The weather was relatively hot but it didn't deter the spirits of students. The organizers gave detailed instructions to the students. Tools and essentials were made available promptly which proved the efficiency of the organizers. All the students took great interest in this useful activity and felt pride in contributing towards nature.

Ma'am Principal graced the activity to motivate and encourage students for planting the trees.
