It’s Election Day, Oklahoma!

Polls are open today, August 25, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

All registered voters—including Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, and Independents—may vote on State Questions 844 and 846. Your ballot may also include runoff races, municipal elections, school propositions, or other local matters.

Before heading to the polls:

✓ Confirm your polling place
✓ Review your sample ballot
✓ Bring acceptable proof of identity

Voters who need assistance may request help from an eligible person or precinct official. Accessible voting equipment is also available for voters who wish to vote privately and independently.

Mental health affects more people than we often realize, and sometimes the people who seem the strongest are carrying more than anyone knows.

If someone you care about is struggling, check in. Listen without trying to fix everything. A simple conversation, a kind message, or letting someone know they're not alone can make more of a difference than you realize.

I'm not sharing this to see who reads it or who shares it. I'm sharing it because I believe we all have the opportunity to make our communities a little more compassionate.

Take care of yourself, and if someone comes to mind while reading this, consider reaching out to them today. Sometimes knowing someone cares is exactly what's needed.
