She’s in labor. The pain is unbearable. There’s no doctor, no hospital, no ambulance—just a motorcycle and a prayer.
The city is eight hours away. Eight hours of brutal, unforgiving roads. Eight hours she doesn’t have. The rain is coming. The roads will flood. She won’t make it.
Another mother lost. Another child never taking its first breath. Not because of fate. Not because of illness. But because Gaaj has been forgotten.
How many more must die before someone cares? How many more voices will go unheard?
Gaaj doesn’t need pity. It needs a school. A dispensary. A reason to hope.
Will anyone listen before it’s too late?
