We had the pleasure of being part of a warm Karachi welcome for the Captains of the Multan Sultans and Islamabad United playing the Pakistan Super League final at the National Bank Stadium in the City!
Representing a softer more positive image of Karachi specifically and Pakistan as a whole has always been our vision.
Having the opportunity to tie it into the vision of the Pakistan Super League in bringing cricket home was an honour!

Did you know?

While The State Bank of Pakistan is responsible for the availability of all the money in the economy, it also set up Pakistans’ FIRST and ONLY Money Museum in Karachi!

The State Bank of Pakistan Museum is located on II Chundrigar Road, Karachi’s financial district, in a building initially built for the Imperial Bank of India in 1920.

The Museum contains the coin and currency history of the our region, from ancient times to the present day.

With exciting showcases, and interactive displays to learn more about the exhibits, the Museum is a must see on a visit to Karachi.

Top Tip:

Don’t forget to visit the Museum’s Sadequain Art Gallery, which displays works by arguably Pakistan’s most famous artist, that were specially commissioned by the State Bank from him over the years.

Did you know?

In Karachi’s Old Clifton area stands a mansion built back in 1927, by Rajasthani businessman Shiv Rattan Mohatta.

Built as a private home, bearing the Mohatta surname, the property was constructed using both the Pink Stone from Jodhpur and the Yellow Stone from Karachi.

After serving additionally as a home for both Fatima and then Shireen Jinnah, the property was restored and re - opened as a Museum in 1999.

The Mohatta Palace Museum regularly hosts exhibitions promoting the arts, culture and other exhibits of national and historical importance to Pakistan.

Thanks to those who played a role in saving the Mohatta Palace, Karachi and those who visit it are able to see this small piece of Rajasthan in the City live on!

Did You Know?

The street behind the Old Denso Hall, located at the corner of Napier Road and Bandar Road, is the latest pedestrian street in Karachi?

Renowned architect and heritage activist Mrs. Yasmin Lari through her Heritage Foundation of Pakistan initially restored Denso Hall, and then moved on to creating a pedestrian only access to the marketplace on Marriott Road located behind it!

Both the methods and materials used, were aimed at minimising the carbon footprint of the restoration with the aim of extending a heritage walking trail through the many old bazaars towards the Port Trust Building.

With its’ 4 urban forests, neatly paved walkway, and colonial era facades on all sides, Karachis’ Zero Carbon Street breathes new life into one of the oldest parts of the city!

Our Top Tip:

The bricks paving the road are embossed with famous Karachi landmarks. Don’t forget to look down to figure them all out!
