Our Story
We are local based tour operators in Pakistan. The way back to establish Machulo Treks & Tours, stand our whole career experience in the field of adventure and cultural tourism in our country. "Machulo" does not require too much introduction, particularly talking about adventure tourism; it is a big reference among the great mountain ranges of Karakorams, Himalayas and Hindukush. In this remote village of Baltistan, most of the youth work with trekking and expedition groups as guide, cook, low and high altitude porters. Several of them have already been on the tops of the K-2(Godwin Austin), Nanga Parbat, Broad peak and Gashabrums. As a recognition their sincerity and hardworking, expeditions not only prefer to hire them again and again but they do run projects for the welfare of the entire mass and the mountain communities in the region. “Felix Foundation Baltistan” is a huge resource for the development of education, agriculture and tourism based at Machulo village, which is funded by a group of Basque mountaineers from Spain. Here we feel proud to add our introduction as being the founders and leaders of this renowned NGO in Pakistan. The great mountain ranges, beautiful valleys, old and new colorful culture and unique lifestyles of the people of our country, all were among the reasons when we were deciding to form Machulo Treks & Tours. We are also grateful to our several respectful clients in the past, now very close friends, who not only encouraged us but insisted to start our own business. Yet we meant that our experience was really recognized and we should step into business beside the NGO, that both the life and community welfare run smooth. Not too much we prefer to comment here about what we to offer, however, let us know your own requirements. For your comfort, the team at “Machulo Treks &Tours” is consisted of only those professionals, whom we personally know and worked together in the thirst and freezing moments of our adventure career. We provide food, transport, Tents and mountaineering equipment only recommended by our old clients. The trip schedules and routes will be the same where we stepped, camped and valued by trekkers, mountaineers and tourists whom we served in the past years. Pakistan is such a wonderful travel destination, come and see it, we assure you of journeys giving life time memories.
