Women's Digital League WDL is a social enterprise empowering Pakistani women by training and connecting them to digital work. The year was 2009.

A 29-year-old woman was fired from her teaching job because she was pregnant. Having battled postpartum depression with her first born she needed the work to ensure history didn’t repeat itself with the second child. But what job opportunities were available for a woman with no experience except teaching at a primary school? A job that would be seen as “respectable” in society? It was because of this personal pain that Women’s Digital League was formed.

The topic for the day was "Supporting Career Advancement: Overcoming Barriers and Seizing Opportunities" and the panelists spoke candidly about their life journeys, the obstacles they faced and how they navigated a male-dominated sector to reach to the top. Theybspoke about the importance of self-belief, finding mentors, creating supportive networks, and uplifting other women.

Duration: 1 day
Pay: Rs. 7000 (to be paid on or before October 15)

Details: We need someone with basic knowledge of working with datasets. A survey result needs to be cleaned up and presented in a format that can be used for analysis. All instructions will be provided over a phone/TEAM call tomorrow evening (September 12). Please be mindful of the client's time and don't apply if you are not comfortable with using excel and have never done data cleanup. Irrelevant CV or false CVs will be blacklisted for future tasks.
