I’ve faced brutal storms, climbed through the deadliest death zones, and battled exhaustion at the highest places on Earth. But nothing—nothing—tested me like what happened after I came back from G1 and G2 in Pakistan.

My leg went numb. I lost all feeling. One moment, I was standing on top of the world, and the next, I couldn’t even stand on my own feet. The dream I had spent my whole life chasing—14x8000—suddenly felt like it was slipping away.

I was rushed into spinal surgery, not knowing if I would ever walk again, let alone climb. Six months. Six long months of pain, of frustration, of teaching my legs to move again, step by step, inch by inch. I started from zero. I fell, I struggled, but I never gave up. Because this dream—our dream—was always bigger than the pain.

And then, with your prayers and my unwavering faith, I returned. I climbed 6 more of the world’s highest peaks. I finished what I started. I proved to myself—and to the world—that nothing is impossible if you refuse to surrender.

But now, the spine that carried me through all those summits is calling for help again.

In a few days, I will be going in for another major spinal surgery. And to be honest… I’m scared. But I know one thing for sure—I have never been alone in this journey.

Your duas, your love, and your belief in me have been my greatest strength. I’ve conquered mountains with your prayers before, and I will conquer this too. Because this is not where my journey ends—this is where I rise again.

Pray for me, stand with me, and I promise… I’ll see you all on top again.

*مصنوعی ذہانت انڈس ویلی اسکرپٹ ڈی کوڈ کرے گی*

کیا آپ جانتے ہیں کہ پاکستان دنیا کی قدیم ترین تہذیبوں کا مسکن رہا ہے؟ یہاں کی وادئ سندھ کی تہذیب تقریباً 4 ہزار سال پرانی ہے۔ اُس زمانے میں دنیا کی 10 فیصد آبادی دریائے سندھ کے ساتھ ساتھ رہتی تھی اور جس میں موئن جو دڑو اور ہڑپہ جیسے عظیم شہر تھے۔ لیکن اس جدید ترین تہذیب کے بارے میں لوگ بہت کم جانتے ہیں کیونکہ آج تک اُن کا تحریری نظام (writing system) سمجھا ہی نہیں جا سکا۔ 'انڈس ویلی اسکرپٹ' آج بھی دنیا بھر کے سائنس دانوں کے لیے ایک راز بنا ہوا ہے۔

دنیا بھر کے ماہرین کئی دہائیوں سے تحقیق کر رہے ہیں لیکن اب تک انڈس اسکرپٹ کو پڑھ نہیں پائے اور اب اس کام میں مدد لی جا رہی ہے مصنوعی ذہانت (Artificial Intelligence) کی۔ جی ہاں! چیٹ جی پی ٹی یہاں بھی کام آ رہا ہے کیونکہ یہ بہت بڑا لینگویج ماڈل ہے اور اس کام میں مدد کر سکتا ہے۔

وادئ سندھ کی تہذیب 1920 کی دہائی میں دریافت ہوئی تھی اور دلچسپ بات یہ ہے کہ 1999 تک یہ تک نہیں معلوم تھا کہ اس کے اسکرپٹ کے ابتدائی نمونے کون سے ہیں؟ مختلف برتنوں، مہروں اور ہڈیوں پر بھی جانوروں کی مختلف اور عجیب شکلیں تھیں اور یہی پیچیدہ نقوش اس دریافت کو اور بھی مزیدار بنا رہی ہیں۔ لیکن لکھا کیا ہے؟ یہ آج بھی کوئی نہیں جانتا۔

مائیکروسافٹ میں اپلائیڈ مشین لرننگ کے سائنس دان ستیش پالیانی اپن کا کہنا ہے کہ یہ اسکرپٹ ہمیں اِس قدیم تہذیب کے طرز زندگی کے بارے میں بہت مدد دے گا۔

ستیش ان بہت سے سائنس دانوں میں سے ایک ہیں جو مصنوعی ذہانت سے کام کرنے والے الگورتھمز کی مدد سے انڈس اسکرپٹ کو decode کرنے کی کوشش کر رہے ہیں۔ انھوں نے ایک ایسا الگورتھم بنایا ہے جو اس ٹیکسٹ کے مختلف patterns کو سمجھنے کی کوشش کر رہا ہے۔ مختلف شکلوں کی فریکوئنسی کی مدد سے وہ چاہتے ہیں کہ وہ کوئی key بنا سکیں۔

مصری تہذیب کی زبان بھی ایک multilingual key کی مدد سے ڈی کوڈ کی گئی تھی، جسے Rosetta Stone کہتے ہیں۔ اس کی مدد سے پہلے سے ڈی کوڈ شدہ زبان کی مدد سے ایک نامعلوم زبان ڈی کوڈ ہوئی۔ لیکن کیونکہ وادئ سندھ سے ایسی کوئی multilingual key نہیں ملی، اس لیے پالیانی اپن جیسے سائنس دان محض اپنی تخلیقی سوچ کے ذریعے انڈس اسکرپٹ اور دوسری زبانوں کے درمیان تعلق کو سمجھنے کی کوشش کر رہے ہیں۔ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ "نیچرل لینگویج پروسیسسنگ میں حال ہی میں جو ترقی ہوئی ہے، خاص طور پر چیٹ جی پی ٹی جیسے لارج لینگویج ماڈلز کی آمد سے ہم انڈس اسکرپٹ کے بارے میں بہت کچھ سیکھ سکتے ہیں۔ ہو سکتا ہے یہ جنریٹو ماڈلز کچھ علامات کو سمجھ پائیں اور ہمیں بتا سکیں کہ یہ کسی زبان کے ڈھانچے میں کس طرح فٹ ہو سکتے ہیں۔"

اسی طرح یونیورسٹی آف نیبراسکا لنکن میں کمپیوٹنگ کے پروفیسر پیٹر ریویز بھی انڈس اسکرپٹ کو دوسری زبانوں سے جوڑنے کی کوشش کر رہے ہیں۔

ستیش اور پیٹر ایک طالبہ شروتی داگومتی کے ساتھ مل کر برہمی اسکرپٹ اور فونیقی حروف (Phoenician alphabet) کے درمیان تعلق کے ذریعے انڈس ویلی اسکرپٹ کا جائزہ لے رہے ہیں اور ان کا تقابل کر رہے ہیں۔ 2018 میں پیٹر اور داگومتی نے پتہ چلایا تھا کہ انڈس اسکرپٹ کے کچھ حروف فونیقی حروف سے ملتے جلتے ہیں۔ انھوں نے تب بھی اے آئی الگورتھم کا استعمال کیا تھا۔

انڈس اسکرپٹ تاریخ کی پیچیدہ ترین پہیلیوں میں سے ایک ہے۔ کیا مصنوعی ذہانت انسان کے ساتھ مل کر اس راز کا پتہ چلا پائے گی؟ اگر ایسا ہوا تو جو کام دہائیوں سے نہیں ہو پا رہا تھا، وہ ہو جائے گا اور شاید یہ سائنس کے میدان میں مصنوعی ذہانت کی پہلی بہت بڑی کامیابی ہوگی۔
