Haldi Cones, Khaplu, Gilgit Baltistan.

Good Mornig from Manthoka Waterfall!

One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Skardu, Manthoka Waterfall drops around 180 ft (55 m) into a rocky stream surrounded by cliffs and greenery.

Known for its powerful flow, scenic setting, and easy roadside access, it’s one of the most popular natural attractions in the region.

Location: Kharmang Valley, Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan

How to Reach: About 80 km from Skardu, reachable by car, bike, or local transport via the Skardu–Kharmang road.

🏔️ Nanga Parbat’s Rupal Face

The Rupal Face of Nanga Parbat is widely regarded as the tallest mountain face on Earth, rising nearly 4,600m (15,000+ ft) from Rupal Valley—making it the highest unbroken mountain wall in the world.

Known for its fortress-like appearance, extreme climbing difficulty, and for helping earn Nanga Parbat the name “Killer Mountain.”

How to Reach: Drive to Tarashing then Rupal Valley from Astore via jeep or motorcycle, then continue trekking towards camp 1.

Tupopdan — also called the Passu Cones or Passu Cathedral — is a dramatic cluster of sharp, jagged peaks in northern Pakistan, looking more carved than natural.

Height: about 6,106 m (20,033 ft).

Location: Passu, Gojal Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan — right along the Karakoram Highway.

First climbed in 1987 by a Japanese team. Rarely attempted due to extreme difficulty (steep ice, unstable rock, narrow ridges). More admired than climbed.

How to reach:
Travel to Hunza → drive ~2 hours on Karakoram Highway to Passu → the cones are visible right from the road.
