ESSD 1st International Conference on “Energy Systems for Sustainable Development (ESSD-2015)" will be held on May 20-22, 2015 in Lahore, Pakistan

Global energy demand is going up while world is running out of cheap oil, therefore in coming days new discoveries, advanced technology, and unconventional energy resources will be in high demand. Developing environmentally friendly energy resources and wise use of renewable resources is essential for secure and sustainable economies. The International Conference on “Energy Systems for Sustainable

Development (ESSD-2015)" will provide an internationally recognized Forum for the dissemination of the latest advances on energy planning, energy saving, energy technological developments etc. as well as on their increasing practical interest and real applications. The objective of “ESSD-2015" is to bring together representatives from academia, industry, and authorities to exchange latest advances in knowledge and technological progress and to share experience pertaining technological, economic and environmental aspects of energy resources development and utilization, optimize the utilization of basic energy resources in the major energy consuming sectors in the developing countries and provide forum for East-west cooperation in the field of energy and environment. The Conference will bring together International experts and representatives from academia, industry, and authorities to exchange latest advances in knowledge and technological progress, and to share experience in economic and environmental aspects of energy developments. Idea of this International Conference is how best Pakistan can use the energy resources to meet growing energy demand, overcome energy crisis and achieve sustainable development.

Are you ready to meet world-renowned scientists during ESSD, scheduled on Feb 21-23, 2018. Prof. Martin Kaltschmitt, one of our key note speakers, is a German engineer and professor at Technical University of Hamburg (https://www.tuhh.de/iue/mitarbeiterinnen/martin-kaltschmitt.html ). He is head of the Institute for Environmental technology and Energy industry at Technical University of Hamburg. Prof. Martin is a pioneer scientist in the filed of renewable energy. He has authored 20 books, more than 200 publications in scientific journals, 250 conference contributions, and delivered more than 250 scientific speeches around the world.
