TDCP - Cholistan Jeep Rally Tour
--------------------------------------------
The Cholistan Jeep Rally is an off-road rally raid race, organized annually since 2005 by the TDCP - Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab - in Pakistan. The rally held near the Derawar Fort in Bahawalpur. Around 100 drivers and teams from all over Pakistan participate in the rally and almost 100,000 visitors witness the rally every year.
The purpose of holding this event in the heart of Cholistan Desert is to show visitors its history and rich culture as well as to open it up as a winter tourist destination. Widespread projection in print and electronic media is anticipated.
