Shandur Pass

At an elevation of 3700 meters (12,200 feet).
Shandur Pass is a pass located in District Upper chitral. It is often called 'Roof of the World'. During the annual 'Shandur Polo Festival,' there are polo matches played in Shandur Polo Ground on Shandur Top, between the teams of Chitral District and Gilgit-Baltistan Province.

Chaumos festival , valley kalash chitral pakistan December 19th, 2020.

It is celebrated for two weeks at winter solstice (Dec. 7-22).
This festival has many rituals.

Chawmos is celebrated without musical instruments in the Rumbur and Bumborate villages but with instruments in Birir village. Chawmos comes after the Kalash finish their fieldwork and store their cheese, fruit, vegetables and grains for the year.
