As a testament to our 23 year old legacy of adventure, LAS members decided to explore the relatively untouched areas of Kalam and Chitral during our very recent Summer Trek'17 via the Dadreli Pass- one of the most strenuous passes in the region, which took them to a height of 5030m.

MAY TRIP ‘26

Join LAS this May for a journey through breathtaking landscapes.

Southside
At 3,100m, Southside offers a front-row view of Nanga Parbat’s Rupal Face—the highest mountain wall on earth, rising in silence and shadow.

Ghizer
Tucked between green valleys and turquoise rivers at 2,500m, Ghizer is where the Hindu Kush meets the Karakoram—untamed and unforgettable.

Shigar
At 2,300m, Shigar is the gateway to the world’s second-highest peak—K2. A desert-meets-mountain wonder of apricot orchards and ancient forts.

Rakaposhi
Standing at 7,788m, Rakaposhi watches over Hunza like a guardian of snow. At its base, the view alone is a summit.

Haramosh
Hidden in Gilgit District at 3,100m, Haramosh is flanked by glaciers and guarded by the mighty Haramosh Peak (7,397m)—wild, silent, and immense.

This winter, 5 LAS members attempted the Boissam Pass in the Shimshal Valley. Despite extreme conditions and temperatures dropping to –35°C, 2 members successfully summited Boissam Pass (5002m asl) on 9 January at 1:30 pm.

Boissam Pass lies in the Ghuzherav Mountains, connecting Shimshal with Koksil on the Karakoram Highway, 17 km west of Khunjerab Pass. The route crosses both the northern and southern sections of the range and is known for its challenging terrain and striking landscapes.

The 5-day expedition tested endurance and commitment. Congratulations to our members on this achievement — a reminder of what consistent effort and determination can achieve.

The devastating floods in the north of Pakistan have displaced countless families, destroyed homes, and disrupted livelihoods. In this time of need, it is our collective responsibility to stand together and extend our support.
