Fog-draped winter morning over Lahore, the city wrapped in soft haze and muted light. This rooftop location inside one of the cleanest, most polished hotels in the city comes with a creative paradox: sleek lines, beige tones, and minimal architecture that leave little room to “hide” behind the background. No dramatic textures, no visual noise just space, light, and emotion.

We treated it as a challenge. Stripping everything back meant the story had to come purely from connection, body language, and atmosphere. Thankfully, this couple made it effortless total sweethearts, completely trusting, and fully on board with every slightly unusual idea.

What could have felt plain became cinematic. What could have been limiting became intentional. A beautiful day, soft winter light, and two people completely in their moment an absolute joy to capture.

The client arrived late for the shoot, so I had no option but to photograph everything at the venue, which was extremely basic and quite mediocre. Even then, I worked with a clear vision of how the final images needed to look, and through thorough editing and careful artistry the results turned out absolutely marvelous. The photographs look magical and elevated, nothing like a simple wedding venue in Pakistan a complete transformation.

Captured this frame and instantly felt those classic Shahrukh and Kajol DDLJ vibes soft, cinematic, youthful. A beautiful teen-like nostalgia moment, perfectly relived for the bride and groom in the middle of their own modern love story.

Getting to the top of this building was both difficult and unexpectedly funny. The December cold was extreme, the wind was sharp, and the fog made every step feel like a challenge. But the moment I reached the top, everything turned surreal. The entire scene had a soft glow, the fog scattered the sunset light beautifully, and every frame felt worth the struggle. Moments like these remind me why I love creating images in tough conditions because the results are magic.
