Perched on a hilltop in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, this 2,000-year-old Buddhist monastery still echoes with silence, serenity, and stories of a time when monks lived, meditated, and studied here.

Our guest was in awe of the views, the architecture, and the peaceful energy that still lingers in these ancient stones.

Before reels, before hashtags. We were already on the road.
From 2005 to 2017, these moments capture the early years of Shahid, the founder of Indus Holidays.
A reminder that our journey didn’t just start. It’s been growing, evolving, and connecting cultures for years.

We’ve been in the game long before it became one.

She came alone… but never felt alone.
From the mountains of the north to the streets of Cities, every step told a story — of connection, kindness, and colors she never imagined.

"I'm going to Pakistan" wasn’t just a song — it became a feeling.
A journey that changed her view, and maybe… yours too.

It’s not on every tourist map—but it should be.

“Don’t go to Pakistan, it’s very dangerous.”
We’ve all heard it. The warnings, the headlines, the stereotypes.

But here’s the truth — Pakistan is nothing like the fear that surrounds it.

It’s breathtaking mountain ranges and peaceful lakes.
It’s vibrant cities full of life, stories, and history.
It’s people who open their homes to strangers and treat guests like family.
It’s call to prayer at sunset, the scent of chai in the streets, and laughter echoing through valleys.

Danger isn’t always about a place.
Sometimes, it’s the narrative that keeps us from discovering beauty, connection, and truth.

Pakistan is not what they told you.
It’s more. Much more.
Come and see for yourself.

We met at the edge of Pakistan - Sost, where the Karakoram greets you with snow and silence. Jonathan came from Australia with a heart full of curiosity. We welcomed him with open roads and mountain air.

Together, we cycled from the Sost Border, crossing the mighty Khunjerab Pass, gliding past the iconic Passu Cones, and exploring the heart of Hunza on two wheels.

We left our bikes behind and began our trek to Rakaposhi Basecamp. The trail was steep, the air thinner. But with every step, the world opened wider, waterfalls crashing down cliffs, wildflowers blooming between stones, and finally, that breathtaking wall of white, Rakaposhi.

We earned a memory we’ll carry forever.

And this was only the beginning. Indus Holidays proudly launched its first cycling tour.
