Contrary to some claims, Terich Mir is not accessed via Susum valley but primarily through the Terich Valley. The first expedition to climb Terich Mir in 1950 used the Owir route, but subsequent expeditions have predominantly utilized the Terich Valley for access.
The Terich Valley provides routes to all the major peaks of the Hindu Kush, including Noshaq, Istoronal, and Saraghrar.
