Sindh has been the cradle of ancient civilizations. The explored archeological sites stand as a testimony to this fact. But much is still in the store to be explored. More serious exploration and excavation in various areas will unravel many mysteries of the ancient and glorious past of Sindh. Sindh is full of old, historic & ancient sites which also include the remains of ancient cities, forts, graveyards, mausoleums, mountains etc. One of our aim is to promote Tourism in Sindh. Ranikot about 90km north of Hyderabad, one of largest forts of the world. The fort occupies area of about 29 square km, with 9 km diameter high. It has four gates on it's four sides and nearly square shape. Three fortresses inside Ranikot namely Mirikot, Shergarrh and Mohankot. A spring emerging from an underground source near the Mohn Gate is named "Parryen Jo Tarr" (the spring of fairies). The local inhabitants tell an interesting myth that fairies come from far and wide on full moon nights to take bath. Why this fort is built and who actually & originally built it, is mystery and riddle which historians and archeologists have to find out. While the variety of the estimates can be gauged from the fact that at one end the possible builder are Scytians and Parthians. Other end one Nawab Wali Mohammed, PM under Talpur ruling dynasty. Other reference also that Rajasthani Maharani called "Rani" built the fort. But this is still a mystery to be solved.
So Indus Adventures take initiative to promote Tourism here and facilities tourists to come and explore this beautiful site of Sindh.
