Last day in Hunza ending the journey with unforgettable moments.

Early morning, our group set off for a scenic trek to Passu Glacier, where the fresh weather and stunning landscapes made it a perfect start to the day. Capturing beautiful memories along the way, every step felt magical.

From Hunza to Passu a journey filled with adventure, beauty, and unforgettable moments.

After breakfast, we set off from Hunza towards Passu, beginning a day packed with iconic sights. Our first stop was the stunning Attabad Lake, where we enjoyed boating on its crystal clear turquoise waters.

Continuing along the scenic Hunza road, we explored the thrilling Hussaini Suspension Bridge, with breathtaking views of the famous Passu Cones and the mighty Indus River creating a dramatic landscape.

Reaching Passu Valley, the adventure continued with a hike on the majestic Batura Glacier a truly unforgettable experience surrounded by towering peaks.

As the day came to an end, we captured beautiful moments while enjoying a magical sunset in Passu the perfect ending to a perfect day.

Today in Hunza was a study in heritage, landscape, and quiet grandeur.

The morning began with a visit to Altit Fort and Baltit Fort, two 700-year-old landmarks that offer deep insight into the region’s history and architecture. A walk through the local markets followed, with lunch enjoyed against the backdrop of Rakaposhi Peak.

The day concluded at Eagle’s Nest Viewpoint for sunset. From this vantage, the surrounding skyline revealed its icons: the Ladyfinger Peaks, Diran Peak, Rakaposhi, and Golden Peak — all illuminated in the last light of day.

بفہ کی برف سے K2 بیس کیمپ تک — یادوں، حوصلے اور شکرگزاری کا سفر

میرا تعلق ضلع مانسہرہ کے قصبے بفہ بٹل کی ان دلکش وادیوں سے ہے جہاں میرا بچپن پروان چڑھا اور ابتدائی تعلیم کے روشن دن بسر ہوئے۔ آج بھی جب ماضی کے دریچے کھلتے ہیں تو بفہ کی برف پوش سردیاں اپنی پوری آب و تاب کے ساتھ یادوں میں اتر آتی ہیں۔
وہ زمانہ کچھ اور ہی تھا۔ آسمان سے اترتی برف زمین پر سفیدی کی ایسی چادر بچھا دیتی کہ ہر سمت حسن بکھر جاتا۔ گھروں کی چھتوں پر برف کے انبار لگ جاتے، لوگ بیلچے ہاتھوں میں لیے راستے صاف کرتے اور بچے ہفتوں تک اس برفانی دنیا میں کھیلتے، ہنستے اور خوشیاں سمیٹتے رہتے۔ میں بھی انہی خوش نصیب بچوں میں شامل تھا جنہوں نے فطرت کے اس حسین روپ کو قریب سے دیکھا اور جیا۔
آج جب میں بہتر برس کی عمر میں ماضی کی طرف نگاہ ڈالتا ہوں تو وہ سب مناظر کسی خوب صورت خواب کی مانند محسوس ہوتے ہیں۔ وقت کے ساتھ ساتھ موسمیاتی تبدیلی نے بہت کچھ بدل دیا ہے۔ وہ برف، وہ سردیاں اور وہ بے فکری سے بھرپور دن اب حقیقت سے زیادہ یادوں کا حصہ بن چکے ہیں۔ یوں لگتا ہے جیسے قدرت کے ایک دلکش باب پر دھیرے دھیرے گرد جم گئی ہو۔
سکردو سے میرا تعلق تقریباً پندرہ برس پرانا ہے۔ ابتدا میں جب بھی وہاں جانے کا موقع ملتا، توت کے کسی باغ میں چند خوشگوار ساعتیں گزارتا، دوستوں کے ساتھ پکنک مناتا اور واپس لوٹ آتا۔ اُس وقت تک سکردو میرے لیے صرف ایک خوب صورت سیاحتی مقام تھا، جس کی دلکشی نگاہوں کو تو بھاتی تھی مگر روح تک نہیں اترتی تھی۔
پھر قدرت نے میری ملاقات بلتستان ٹورز کے منیجنگ ڈائریکٹر، حاجی اقبال صاحب، سے کروا دی۔ ایک روز انہوں نے مسکراتے ہوئے کہا:
"ڈاکٹر صاحب! سکردو ہی بلتستان نہیں۔ یہاں کی ہر وادی، ہر پہاڑ اور ہر راستہ اپنی الگ داستان رکھتا ہے۔ کبھی ان کہانیوں سے بھی مل کر دیکھیے۔"
یہ جملہ میرے دل میں اتر گیا۔ میں نے ان کا مشورہ قبول کیا اور یوں ایک نئے سفر کا آغاز ہوا۔
گزشتہ کئی برسوں سے مجھے بلتستان کی حسین وادیوں میں سفر کرنے کا موقع ملتا رہا ہے۔ ان سفرناموں کے دوران دل میں ایک خواہش مسلسل زندہ رہی کہ زندگی میں کم از کم ایک مرتبہ کسی عظیم پہاڑ کی آغوش تک ضرور پہنچوں۔ مگر ہر بار کوئی نہ کوئی رکاوٹ راستہ روک لیتی۔
رواں برس حاجی اقبال صاحب کے صاحبزادے، ظفر اقبال، نے مجھ سے کہا:
"ایک غیر ملکی گروپ K2 بیس کیمپ جا رہا ہے، آپ بھی ہمارے ساتھ چلیں۔"
صحت مکمل طور پر سازگار نہیں تھی، عمر بھی اپنی حقیقت یاد دلاتی رہتی تھی، مگر دل نے ہمت کی اور ارادے نے کمزوری کو شکست دے دی۔ یوں میں بالآخر دنیا کی عظیم ترین چوٹیوں میں شمار ہونے والے K2 کے بیس کیمپ تک پہنچ گیا۔
یہ سفر صرف پہاڑوں اور گلیشیئرز کا سفر نہیں تھا، بلکہ انسان کے عزم اور حوصلے کا امتحان بھی تھا۔ اس پورے سفر میں بلتستان ٹورز کی ٹیم نے جس محبت، خلوص اور پیشہ ورانہ مہارت کا مظاہرہ کیا، اسے الفاظ میں مکمل طور پر بیان کرنا ممکن نہیں۔ برفانی بیس کیمپ میں بھی کھانے اور رہائش کے ایسے معیاری انتظامات موجود تھے کہ انسان کو کسی بہترین ہوٹل کا گمان ہونے لگتا تھا۔
ہمارے ساتھ دنیا کے مختلف ممالک سے تعلق رکھنے والے کوہ پیما اور سیاح بھی موجود تھے۔ کوئی تھکن سے نڈھال ہو جاتا، کوئی طبیعت کی خرابی کا شکار ہو جاتا، تو ٹیم کا ہر فرد فوراً مدد کے لیے حاضر ہو جاتا۔ یہ صرف ایک کاروباری ذمہ داری نہیں تھی بلکہ انسان دوستی اور مہمان نوازی کی عملی تصویر تھی۔
خاص طور پر ظفر اقبال کی بے لوث خدمت اور ہمہ وقت موجودگی نے مجھے بے حد متاثر کیا۔ ان کی کامیابی کا راز محض پیشہ ورانہ مہارت نہیں بلکہ اپنے خطے، اپنی ثقافت اور سیاحت سے گہری محبت ہے۔
ان بلند و بالا وادیوں میں جا کر انسان خود کو فطرت کے بے حد قریب محسوس کرتا ہے۔ یوں لگتا ہے جیسے کائنات کی وسعتوں کے سامنے انسان کا سر بے اختیار اپنے خالق کے حضور جھک گیا ہو۔ برف سے ڈھکی فلک بوس چوٹیوں کو دیکھ کر روح میں ایک عجیب سی طمانیت اترتی ہے۔ سال بھر کی تھکن، ذہنی دباؤ اور زندگی کی الجھنیں برف کی مانند پگھلنے لگتی ہیں، اور دل کے اندر ایک نئی توانائی جنم لیتی ہے۔
وہ خاموش توانائی آہستہ سے کہتی ہے:
"اٹھو... زندگی ابھی باقی ہے۔"
بفہ کی برف سے K2 بیس کیمپ تک کا یہ سفر محض میلوں کی مسافت نہیں، بلکہ یادوں، خوابوں، حوصلے، شکرگزاری اور خود شناسی کا سفر ہے۔ ایسا سفر جو انسان کو ایک بار پھر اپنی فطرت، اپنے خالق اور اپنے باطن سے جوڑ دیتا ہے، اور یہی اس کی اصل خوب صورتی ہے۔
