Urgent Update | Broad Peak Avalanche Incident

It is with deep concern that reports have emerged of a major avalanche on Broad Peak (8,047m) in the Karakoram during today’s summit push.

According to initial reports, a team of 10 climbers from different countries has been affected by the avalanche, and communication with the team has reportedly been lost. Search and rescue efforts are being coordinated by the relevant authorities, with helicopter support being arranged as soon as weather and operational conditions allow.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all the climbers, rescue teams, and their families during this difficult time. We sincerely hope for their safety and a successful rescue operation.

The mountains are a place of great beauty, but they also remind us of the immense power of nature. May everyone return safely.
