Today's pick is an absolute gem – the Chapel of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Jaszczurówka. It is a textbook, masterclass example of the classic Zakopane style, designed by Stanisław Witkiewic himself.

Looking at this structure, you cannot help but admire the brilliant craftsmanship of the old Podhale carpenters. Pay attention to the solid stone foundation supporting the log-cabin structure made of massive wooden beams, joined together with precise carpentry skills without the use of metal nails.
