This is what keeps us going.

The Arctic. The silence. The places this ship is meant to reach.

But right now, it’s not glaciers and open water —
it’s tools, dust, cables, and long days.

With the goal always in sight, we’re giving it everything we’ve got.

Every detail we finish brings us one step closer to finally taking F***Y where she belongs.

After a month of silence, here’s why.

We didn’t stop working — quite the opposite.
Right now, we’re in the final stretch before F***Y leaves the shipyard, and every single day is packed with tasks that need our full attention.

Some of them are big. Most of them are small.
But all of them matter if you want to take a 34m expedition ship safely out to sea.

That’s why things have been quiet here.
Less video editing, more building.

But we’re getting closer. Every single day.

And very soon, this project will turn into what it was always meant to be:
real expeditions.

Stay with us — the best part is about to begin.

Not every job on a ship is pretty — but all of them matter.
Today it was time to empty the sludge tank.

With a pump truck parked right next to F***Y, we removed everything that builds up deep in the engine room over time.
Along the way, a friendly pump truck driver joined us for a small “diamond hunt” — finding hidden dirty water in forgotten corners from past cleanings.

No perfect setup, no perfect fittings — but a solution was found.
That’s real ship life below deck.

Follow along if you want to see what it actually takes to keep an expedition vessel running. 🚢

Warm water on an expedition ship doesn’t come from a switch on the wall.
In this video, we take you into the engine room and explain step by step how refilling the day tank with fuel keeps our heating system running — and the water warm.

We show how fuel flows through the system, why the day tank is essential, and how all of this connects to hot showers and life onboard in cold regions. A practical, behind-the-scenes look at how comfort at sea depends on engineering.

Straight from the engine room, explained simply — because on a ship, everything has a purpose.

Planning my day for tomorrow:
Welding hinges for a desk.
Mounting more LED Spots.
Galley furniture drawing.

Few weeks ago I shipped some olive oil to these guys, now I decided to go and visit, because you know I like the cold 🥶

You can also follow on Instagram to see how we transform an old sailtraining vessel into a fully functional expedition ship. Or maybe you join one of our trips into the arctic.
