Definitely a rising star of the Northern Polish culinary world is the Tłusta Kaczka (Fat Duck) restaruant in Gdynia. Words are very unneccessary - just take a look at the pictures from this venue (both design and dishes)!

A good option for families with kids in the North-eastern part of Poland is Mrongoville - an amusent park in the wild west theme. We were here off season so not everything was open, but you can surely feel the spirit of the American pioneers here.

One of the greatest things about travelling through Polish small cities is the possibility of encountering cars from the past. Here we came upon a real classic which once upon a time used to be Poland's most popular car: Fiat 126p (on an Italian licence). The car had an engine of 594 cc and 23 horsepower. It was 3054 mm long, 1377 mm wide and 1335 mm high. Back then it used to be the most common car to be seen in Poland: 3 318 674 pieces of this model were produced in Poland! O
And it was far from unusual that a family of four people and a dog used to take this car for a road trip during the summer holidays. Now that's what I call nostalgic!
