Fred and Wilma the emus have laid eggs. Fred is sitting on some and I have put 2 in the incubator. Did you know that the male emu sits on the eggs and will go without food and water for the next 50 days until the eggs hatch. Meanwhile the larger female bird guards their territory.

I'm in the process of developing an educational center for families near Krakow.
This "falconry" center will give children the opportunity to get close to, hold and fly Owls, Hawks and Falcons as well as feeding our Emus and other birds.
Just a short drive from Krakow, Poland people can come to learn about the UNESCO Intangible Culture of Falconry and discover the conservation side of protecting Poland's native birds of prey.
