Did you know that we can admire this place only because medieval people are afraid of the wind?
At the beginning of the 19th century, the idea of demolishing the Barbican and St Florian's Gate arose. Senator Feliks Radwański, an architect and professor at the Jagiellonian University, did not support this step. His argument against the demolition of the structures contributed to the belief that their emptiness would allow a strong wind from the north to enter the city and expose the inhabitants to rheumatism and other health problems.

Zalipie is a very popular village among tourists. It is also called the painted village. It is colorful, spring and sunny here. And all this thanks to the fact that the houses are painted in flowery patterns and colors. I am located about 100 km from Krakow.

The Cloth Hall is one of the most characteristic landmarks in Krakow. Hundreds of thousands of tourists visit it, often without realizing that today's Cloth Hall is not the same building that stood in this place in the Middle Ages. Unfortunately, the original cloth hall did not survive the test of time and although we cannot admire them anymore, the current form is certainly richer and more interesting in terms of architecture. The Cloth Hall is an obligatory point on the map of every tourist trip in the city.
