🇬🇧 It was an incredible time for photographers.
We were on a small island in front of a glacier when several Arctic foxes suddenly appeared around us. Their destination was a large bird colony on a nearby islet. Between the two islands stretched a field of drifting ice, and the foxes were leaping across the ice floes to reach their prey.
A few moments later, they would return carrying yet another bird egg in their mouths.
We had the privilege of witnessing it all firsthand, and our cameras were working nonstop as we captured one fantastic image after another. Focused entirely on this easy hunting opportunity, the foxes paid no attention to us, allowing us to observe these remarkable scenes from an exceptionally close distance.

🇵🇱 To był wspaniały czas dla fotografów.
Byliśmy na niewielkiej wyspie przed lodowcem, kiedy wokół pojawiło się kilka lisów. Ich celem była duża kolonia ptaków na kolejnej wysepce. Pomiędzy tymi wyspami znajdowało się pole lodowe po którym przeskakiwały lisy.
Po chwili wracały z kolejnym ptasim jajkiem w paszczy.
A my byliśmy świadkami tego wszystkiego i aparaty grzały się od ilości zdjęć fantastycznych zdjęć. Lisy skoncentrowane na łatwym polowaniu nie zwracały na nas uwagi i byliśmy naprawdę blisko tych scen.

🐻‍❄️ POLAR BEARS EXPEDITION 2027 🧊
A new Arctic adventure is coming.
Next year we are organizing a special expedition around Svalbard focused on searching for and observing polar bears in their natural environment.
Sea ice, Arctic fjords, glaciers, winter landscapes and the wild North.
Our goal will be simple: to spend as much time as possible in places where the King of the Arctic may appear.
This will be an intensive expedition dedicated to wildlife lovers, photographers and people dreaming about experiencing the true Arctic.

Behind us are the first expeditions of this season.
We began with an exciting voyage Across the Arctic Seas, sailing from Tromsø — relatively warm at this time of year — to Svalbard, where winter still reigns. It took us 3 days and 4 hours to cross the Norwegian Sea, the Barents Sea, and the Greenland Sea before reaching Longyearbyen.
We managed to stay ahead of an approaching storm, which eventually caught up with us in the marina in Longyearbyen. We stood some demanding watches, during which we had to keep an eye on more than a dozen mooring lines securing the yacht Azimuth to the dock and constantly adjust the fenders that were jumping out of place. Still, we were happy to be safely moored.
Then the weather improved, giving us time to explore several beautiful places around Spitsbergen.
The story of this expedition is best told through the photographs taken by our participants.

Za nami pierwsze wyprawy tego sezonu.
Zaczęliśmy go ciekawym rejsem Przez Arktyczne Morza, kiedy z ciepłego o tej porze roku Tromso udaliśmy się na Svalbard, gdzie rządzi jeszcze zima. 3 dni i 4 godziny zajęła nam żegluga przez Morze Norweskie, Barentsa, Grenlandzkie do Longyearbyen. Udało nam się wyprzedzić nadciągający sztorm, który dopadł nas w marinie w Longyearbyen. Mieliśmy ciekawe wachty, w trakcie których musieliśmy pilnować kilkunastu cm trzymających jacht Azimuth do pomostu oraz poprawiać wyskakujące odbijacze. Ale cieszyliśmy się, że stoimy bezpiecznie. A potem pogoda poprawiła się i mieliśmy czas na eksplorację kilku pięknych miejsc Spitsbergenu.
