Oh dear… a little bit of rain and suddenly I’m dusting off the autumn wishlist 🍂🎃☕️

You really don’t need to ask me twice - cosy season is my favourite season. I’m already counting down to that first pumpkin spice, crisp autumn mornings, chunky knits, candle-lit evenings, spooky little touches and getting all three of my girls wrapped up for a brisk, crunchy-leaf walk 🍁🧥

And yes, I’m fully aware it’s still summer… but the Ber months are practically here and I refuse to apologise for being excited 😂🍂

So, to my friends, consider this your warning: expect pumpkin talk, Halloween plans, autumn outfits, cosy everything and an unreasonable amount of excitement from me until further notice. 🎃🕯️🍁

Today I completed not only my FIRST ever 5k run, but also my FIRST ever park run. Talk about double whammy 🏃‍♀️💫✨

I set myself the goal of completing it running the whole way, no stopping but with no expectation on time. I didn’t care about the time as long as I didn’t stop. Genuinely thought it would take me about an hour but at best 45-50minutes (I run at a snail pace) 🐌✨

BUT I finished it in the 34th minute! I can’t believe it.
I’m on cloud 9! ☁️🫧✨

I’m a big advocate for pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. It takes me a lot to talk nicely about myself but I’m actually so proud of myself today. I didn’t think I could do it but I pushed through. This is a tiny win for a lot of people but for me who at 8 weeks ago couldn’t even run for a minute, this is massive.
So I’m going to celebrate every win! 💫✨

Take this as your sign that you really CAN do anything you set your mind to - don’t let anyone or anything stop you. GO FOR IT 🤎✨
