ROOTKA was borne out of a passion for learning about and telling the story of a people in a region that was and remains deeply influenced by its culture and individuals. After years of working as educators and travel agents in the field of Jewish-Polish relations, we decided to share our experience to help others connect with their roots. l capital that was once one of the greatest Jewish centers of pre-war Poland. We specialize in tailor-made tours to meet your individual needs, including offering tours in English, Hebrew, Polish, and Ukrainian; lodgings and transportation to suit any budget level; and personalized help from genealogical experts. Our team consists of Polish, Israeli, and American nationals, professional guides and historians, travel agents, and researchers. Well, Rootka may not be working in these crazy times, but Agata and Tal sure do! Just finished 3 days of an Online Seminar for Israeli guides. We had the pleasure to take almost 90 Israeli guides and educators to a virtual tour in Lublin and the region. It was a first but for sure not the last! See you online 🤎

To już trzeci dzień szkolenia online dla izraelskich przewodników “Dziedzictwo żydowskie na Lubelszczyźnie” realizowanego przez Stowarzyszenie “Studnia Pamieci” we współpracy z Brama Grodzka (Grodzka Gate). W tym roku nie mogliśmy zaprosić gości z Izraela do Lublina i na Lubelszczyznę, więc promnujemy region wirtualnie i idzie nam to całkiem nieźle! Udział w seminarium bierze 90 osób!
