🏝Summer has arrived. And with it, summer events. I highly recommend a concert or performance at the Amphitheater in Łazienki Królewskie / Royal Lazienki.

I attended a Mozart concert. It's an incredible experience: the sun sets🌞, the birds sing🐦‍🔥, and the musicians play🎶... I just love it 🥰🎵❤️!

While picking up the guests, it was nice to visit the Sheraton Grand Warsaw Hotel again. This is the hotel where I had the chance to work when it was just opening. I went through all the recruitment processes, got in, and... said "no". I chose a career as a tour guide🚶‍♀️❤️. But I wonder sometimes what my life would have been like if I had stayed there🤔.

It was a tour around the city rather than a classic sightseeing tour. Two wonderful sisters from the USA, Pensilvania🇺🇲, decided to get to know their great-grandfather's country🇵🇱.

After visiting the Warsaw Uprising 1944 Museum Muzeum Powstania Warszawskiego , they said that only when you see the enormity of destruction at the exhibition you can understand how unique Warsaw after reconstruction is.

Ladies and... no gentelmen 💃💃💃

International Woman Group from Amsterdam came to Warsaw. Every year the ladies visit a different part of the world, this time it's Poland.
The schedule includes not only sightseeing, but also concerts🎵, learning how to cook traditional Polish cuisine🍝, learning about modern art... etc.

I would like to be able to spend more time with them as.... a member of IWG while living in the Netherlands.... again 🤗

Trygavi and his wife exchanged cold Iceland for... slightly warmer Warsaw😁. Fortunately, the sun was shining on the first day🌞, so we gathered energy for the next day and saw further parts of the city by bike🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️🚴.

I talked about Warsaw and Trygavi talked about Iceland. He did it so well that the next time I get a chance I will buy a ticket and go there. No wonder he won me over with his country. He is a professional guide. I recommend him very much!

Communism – does it sound exotic?

Do you want to know what our lives were like when the word "friend" didn't exist because we were all comrades? Was it good back then? Or is there something we miss now?
If you want to learn about life in Poland from the post-war era to 1989, visit the Museum of Life under the Polish People's Republic with me. You don't have to make a detour; it's right in the city center.

At the end of the tour, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy tea served Polish-style and, of course, a delicious Polish cake.
