Rejsy Po Wiśle - River Cruise is an adventure, nature... and more than a litllebit of luxury. Their boats, Dash and Dot, are beautifully designed, enclosed vessels, with comfy couches and a bar with soft drinks. One can also sighsee the panoramic of Warsaw from the roof, while laying on a sunbed 🙂
For all willing to take part in a Vistula cruise we recommend to follow Rejsy Po Wiśle - River Cruise profile. Regular cruises will be back after winter break in March 2021, starting from an enbarkment below the Royal Castle. SPARK recommends especially evening cruises, when Vistula boulevards are bustling with night life and lights, this is one and only city and river experience.

And where Dash and Dot are mothballed for winter? As most of other vessels, they are docked in Port Czerniakowski, on the southernmost end of boulevards. More about this very intresting place coming soon on our blog.

Rio de Janeiro has samba, Venice has masked balls.... In Poland final week of the Carnival is marked by enormous queues in front of pastry shops.
Today we eat donuts - in abundance! Filled with marmelade, covered in frosting, sprinkled with candied orange skin. People can wait for their donuts for 3 hours or more (like the ones from Pracownia Cukiernicza "Zagoździński", considered the best ones in Warsaw). Crazy? Maybe, but this is Fat Thursday! Bon apetit!

A horse, a cross and a naked female body -this can be found in cellars of Warsaw castle. All carved in brick walls, as the cellar was a a prison cell in XVIIth century. Fate of the inmates is unknown, but 117 of their sketches survived till today and were recently exhibited to the public. Don't miss them durin Your ! Today Warsaw commemorates 77th anniversary of infamous Grossaktion Warschau. On 22th of July 1943 N**i Germans started deportation of more than 260 000 of Jews from Warsaw ghetto to Treblinka death camp. Visit a village with the biggest number of storks in Poland for bird watching. All of this during short, 3 day excursion from Warsaw to Białowieża, to the UNESCO-listed natural park.

During the tour You will:

-make a gudied excursion into Białowieża forest at night and track game using night vision googles,

-take a second, midday guided walk into Białowieża natural reserve,

-visit museum of orthodox icons in Supraśl,

-take a quided tour inside a unique,Tatar mosque - with a member of Tatar community as a guide,

-taste delicious, eastern cuisine at local restaurant,

-spend 2 nights in amazing hotel nearby Białowieża Natural Park in Białowieża (bed & breakfast)

Day 1 - from Warsaw to Białowieża National Park

-departure from Warsaw 9.00 AM

-arrival to Tykocin around 11.30 AM

-sightseeing of Tykocin synagogue till 12.30 PM

- stop at Pentowo village of storks: 12.45-13.15 (possible when storks are nesting, so from early spring till late August - early Sept.)

-arrival to Surpaśl: around 14.15

-lunch meal 14.20 - 15.20

-sightseeing of icons museum in Supraśl 15.30 - 16.20

-departure to Kruszyniany 16.30 - 17.20

-sightseeing of mosque in Kruszyniany 17.30-18.30

-arrival to hotel in Białowieża, chek-in: around 20.30



Day 2 - trips to Bialowieża forrest and natural reserve

-breakfast, free time - till 10.30 AM

-excursion to Bialowieza Natural Park & natural reserve 11.00 AM - 15.00

-possible lunch and free time from around 15.15 till 21.00

-departure to night trip to Bialowieza forrest (bus pick-up) at 21.30

-end of night tour: around 1.30 AM (bus drop off at the hotel)



Day 3 - sightseeing on the way back to Warsaw

-well deserved rest and breakfas - till 10.30 AM

-check out, departure from hotel - 11.00 AM

-stop at Góra Grabarka orthodox sanctuary - 12.30-13.45

-arrival at Drohiczyn - around 14.30

-possible lunch: 14.30-15.30

-sightseeing of Drohiczyn: till around 17.00

-arrival to Warsaw: around 20.30

Guide:

1. experienced and passionate, English-speaking tour leader, travelling with the group for the length of the tour.

2. licensed, English speaking Bialowieża Natural Park tourist guides for two tours into the woods and Natural Reserve,



Meals:

Breakfasts are included in price.

Lunches and dinners are not included.

During day 1 and day 3 SPARK will organize group meals in local restaurants (during drives to and from Białowieża). We will provide the group with menus and prices around 7 days before the tour starts. Taking part in such meal is voluntary, it will be paid on spot

Please inform us about any food alergies or special requirements (vegetarian, pork free etc.).

Transportation:

20-seater bus with driver. A/C, audio system, no older than 5 years.

Other included:

-up to 4 hours, night guided tour into Białowieża forest for animal tracking. One English-speaking guide for up to 6 people. Binoculars and nightvisions device included. With bus pick up - drop off (on day 2)

-up to 4 hours, guided tour in natural reserve in Białowieża, with English-speaking guide for the group. Entrance tickets to natural reserve area included.

Not included:

a.voluntary tips for tour leader and driver

b.tickets to Museum of Icons in Supraśl (12 PLN/~4 Euro per person), guided tour in English with museum guide: 100 PLN/~25 Euro from entire group (on day 1)

c. guided tour in English and entrance to Tatar mosque (100 PLN/25 Euro from entire group) (day 1)

e. any other services not mentioned above (for example: plane tickets, drinks from hotel room fridges, spa treatment etc.)

Money for b. and c. will be collected from the group by the tour leader.

Welcome to the kingdom of żubr - European bison! forest is the house of up to 800 of these magnificent animals, roaming freely in the woods and on meadows. Except meeting bisons, it is perfect place for and cycling ( route!).
