Academia Navigatio launched legendary sailing festivals: 'MAZURY CRUISE' which during past 10 years attracted more then 500 young people from all over the world to come and start the sailing advanture in Mazury in Poland ! ! ! GOALS:
we want to promote sailing culture and show to people all over the world: our national treasure for sailing – The Great Masurian Lake District (located in northeaste

Mazuria also offers great yachtsmen infrastructure. Sailing, windsurfing and kayaking enthusiasts make up the greater part of the hundreds of visitors who come here every year.

LOCATED ON THE PENISULA BETWEN 3 BIG LAKES OF MAZURY: DARGIN, KIRSAJTY AND MAMRY.

GREAT PLACE TO HIDE FROM THE STORM.

AFTER SAILING THROUGH A NARROW CANAL (REALLY DIFFICULT TO SPOT THE ENTRANCE TO THE CANAL FROM THE LAKE) YOU WILL END UP ON A SMALL LAKE AT THE END OF WHICH IS MODERN MARINA FOR MORE THEN 600 BOATS.

Did you know that MAZURY ended up on the shortlist of TOP 14 places in the 'New Seven Wonders of the World contest' ?!

Unfortunately did not make it to the most prestigious 'top 7' but still being in the top 14 shows how unique this area is!

Mazury have overtaken other world wonders, out of which non is located in Europe. Among them are places like: Amazon river, Halung Bay in Vietnam, Iguazu Falls, Jeju Island, Komodo islands, Puerto Princesa Underground River and Table Mountain in Australia.

There were 440 unique places which were submitted to the 'New World Wonders contest' and only 28 made it to the shortlist for the finals and MAZURY were in top 14!
