"Me and my sons built a new house. It makes me proud of them. Now they have to be strong. It's only four of us after Yolanda..."
- Four?
" Their mother died. She wasn't strong enough to survive. She was strong, don't get me wrong, but Yolanda was stronger. Me and my sons are survivors. Nothing is stronger then us. We build this house to show my wife, that we are ok. She doesn't have to be worry. Now it's time for her to take a rest..."

Alice, wróżka z północy...

Była nieśmiałą dziewczyną. Mówili że jest piękna. Duże, czekoladowe oczy i obfite piersi, to pozostałość po hiszpańskich przodkach. Smukła talia. Drobne ciało. To filipińskie geny. Po szkole wracał...

One week in Taclobane. With Sebastiaan Van Der Schrier and his amazing crew we tried to help to relieve trauma after Yolanda.
This kids and their families lost some of the families members, lost houses and all goods they had. But the most important - they lost sense of security.
I tried to fix that with my sense of humor, my puppets, and this new for me therapeutic approach called "tapping".

Tacloban is like patchwork. Nothing here fits together. Everything is from a different story. City of contrast. Rich NGO eat at a fancy restaurant. Across the street, a skinny tattered man sleeping on the sidewalk.
Inscription on the wall - WE NEED FOOD!!!
Children throw stones at the dogs. That's a game. Such a fun!
Other children gather pieces of sheet metal. That's the job. IThey will build a house with these pieces...
