Jennifer and Trevor's kids are happily back in school today. Puerto Rico's recovery is happening fast and furious. It is tremendous. Villa Tropical has a few messed-up decks but overall has fared well, and has a group of Customs and Border Patrol Agents staying with them. They are so amazed and grateful to be a part of such a resilient, loving community. And we are rebuilding better and smarter. Love and blessings to all!

This is Shacks Beach / Playa Shacks, today. Even when the ocean is ripping, there is a protected calm area in the swimming hole, directly in front of Villa Tropical's Oceanfront Apartments. This is also the launch point for surfers, SUP and Kiteboarders. And yes you can still walk for miles without seeing a soul during off season. Blessings and Congratulations to Tamara Levine and Jesus Nieves, who were married on Wednesday August 26th at noon, on their private deck (Unit B2) at Villa Tropical. On a mission to elope in Paradise, they found everything they needed to make their day special, from the dress, to the table settings, to the flowers, to the Atlantic Ocean background, for an unbelievable value. And we're pretty certain, that it was their love, that held back the rains of tropical storm Erika; there is just no other explanation. Did you read our review? A 3 out of 5 in Oyster's 'pearl' chart is not at all bad, in the full international review perspective. Truth is, and all our Guests know it, we've got higher and lower end units, non-oceanfront and oceanfront, jacuzzi/tub/granite countered...and wood-slatted window/country kitchen...and we are totally open about it. We can't turn all the beach apartments into luxury condo's, nor, would we want to. We are a targeted destination for location and a best value for overall comfort, luxury, view, amenities, and service. Of course - location location location. Shacks Beach, Isabela PR is our heaven on earth. Have you called us to reserve your favourite unit for your targeted dates in 2016? Better get on it! :)
