Today, May 7, 2026, at approximately 10:41 a.m., an unfortunate situation occurred in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico in Rainforest Zipline Park involving the theft of personal belongings of one of our participants. The incident involved four individuals visible in the following video. Thanks to the immediate attention, professionalism, and calm response of our team members, the situation was handled without violence or escalation. After a respectful but firm intervention by employees, the participant’s belongings were successfully recovered and returned/found safely.
At Rainforest Zipline Park, we do not condone theft, violence, intimidation, or any behavior that compromises the safety and wellbeing of our guests, employees, or community. The safety of everyone on our property will always remain one of our highest priorities. We would also like to extend a warning to fellow tourism businesses, parks, restaurants, attractions, and local companies around the island to remain alert and attentive to suspicious activity in public areas. Situations like these remind us all of the importance of communication, awareness, and teamwork in protecting both visitors and staff.
Most importantly, we want to recognize and sincerely thank our employees for managing the situation with composure, attentiveness, and professionalism. Their ability to remain calm under pressure reflects the values and standards we strive to uphold every day.
