Fun fact. Last year, 6% of people asked AI for a local business recommendation. This year it is 45%. (BrightLocal, 2026)

People are asking AI where to eat, where to shop, who to call. If it cannot find your business, it cannot recommend you.

Have you been to the Gandy Dancer Bluegrass Festival?

I spent the day there and it was pretty cool — they really nailed it. Met a lot of cool local people, just went around and talked to folks.

There’s something about this time of year that makes you want to slow down a little.

The cooler days.
The changing colors.
The excuse to grab a warm drink and wander somewhere new.

October feels like an invitation to notice the little things.

Take the scenic route.
Spend a little longer somewhere you enjoy.
Say yes to the last-minute plan.
And maybe make a few memories you weren’t expecting.

So here’s to October and whatever adventures, conversations, and unexpected moments it brings.

Some trips end when you get home.

And some… somehow follow you back.

You unpack your suitcase, go back to work, settle into your usual routine but a little part of you is still there.

Maybe it’s the view you can’t stop thinking about.

The meal you still talk about.

The people you met along the way.

Or that one completely unexpected moment that became your favorite part of the trip.

I think that’s what makes travel so special.

It’s not always about how many places you visit.

Sometimes, it’s about the moments that stay with you long after you’ve left. ✈️
