Cielo Vista Guesthouse/Living is a eco-friendly home located in a setting overlooking the blue waters of the Atlantic with views towards the El Yunque National Rainforest in Northeastern Puerto Rico. The island of Puerto Rico is known for its beautiful beaches, stunning landscapes and many other attractions, and even after Hurricane Maria 2017, Cielo Vista Guesthouse/Living will still be construct

ed on 4.205 acres with just a main house and one 20 foot cottage that are constructed of ocean shipping containers. The facility will have a spacious open-air living space with two sunlit bedrooms and large outdoor seating area with BBQ. The cottage will feature a private bathroom, living area and a shaded open patio. We have converted the guesthouse concept to a vacation rental concept until more cottages are placed on the property which will be completed between 2019-2020. Cielo Vista Living will be featured on rental property websites, including AirBnB. I hope you all visit and keep up with the construction and opening of this unique, sustainable piece of sunshine, mountain breeze filled, peaceful spot in Puerto Rico.

¡Por fin, las cosas están moviendo otra vez! Hablé con el arquitecto, Carlos Salazar, y el constructor, Eduardo Tirado, para cambié varias cosas con el container. Al fin de semana voy a tener los planes nuevo para empezar.

Hurricane Maria has made her mark on Puerto Rico, destroying lives and dreams for years to come. With that said, neither I or my brother, who lives in PR, have been able to see the property where we were planning Cielo Vista Guesthouse. The only thing we know is that El Yunque National Rainforest was destroyed and we sit on it's foothills.

As of now the Guesthouse will be a far future project for me until Puerto Rico is put back together. We, if anything, lost equipment and the trees that were first there and the ones my brother planted.
We are lucky that the loss is absolutely minimum compared to ours in our area.

I plan on building Cielo Vista Guesthouse when PR starts on the road to recovery.
