Hello all! We've been a little MIA in our socials but we come back with some exciting news to share with our community! In collaboration with the U.S. Forest Service - El Yunque National Forest we are starting our Wellness Program in El Yunque with our first beta Yoga class in El Portal Visitors Center with our amazing yoga instructor Ginette Pagán! This is the first many new exciting wellness activities that we are bringing to this amazing space surrounded by the healing nature of the forest. This first class is a beta and is free* of charge as it will give us a change to get input and feedback from our participants on how we can make it work for you!

Hour: 9:30am to 11am
Location: 2nd floor of El Portal Visitors Center

What to bring? Bring your own mat and tennis or trekking sandals as we will end the class with a wellness walk in El Portal trail.

*All participants need to pay the $8 entry fee to enter the facilities at El Portal.

Hi, I am Mónica a Certified Forest Therapy guide. Me and other wonderful guides are partnering with to launching a recurring calendar to provide mindfulness walks at El Yunque.

What is it? "Unlike a hike or guided nature walk aimed at identifying trees or birds, forest therapy relies on trained guides, who set a deliberately slow pace and invite people to experience the pleasures of nature through all of their senses."
