My passion for birding was sparked by an invitation to join an Audubon Christmas Bird Count a number of years ago. A curiosity became a passion and was soon making major sightings throughout Puerto Rico, earning a strong reputation with the local birding community. nd now in Dominican Republic and the United States so I am extremely grateful to them for allowing me to be part of a great team of local guides who enjoy birds. Wildside Nature Tours Cuba Photo & Culture tour Day 2 done! A very rainy morning gave the group a chance to play with the settings on their cameras. I did my best to follow Lee Hoy instructions and get to settings I’ve never thought I will. Amazing group all with OM System cameras!

Been on “a break” after more than a month out guiding. Went to try my new OM camera in a spot near my house. Took me a while to get the right settings but I think it works. White-tailed Tropicbird at Cueva del Indio, Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Wildside Nature Tours

Super excited to have found a Puerto Rican Spindalis nest under construction. I had partially seen couple before, but this one is to my delight
"easy" to see. Found during the Sociedad Ornitológica Puertorriqueña Puerto Rico Breeding Bird Atlas.

One of my favorite doves in the Caribbean is the Caribbean Dove. Again, love to get videos of very relax behavior. This was in Jamaica during my Wildside Nature Tours Jamaica Endemics tour.

This bird is hidden on plain sight from non birders in a hotel garden. People walks by him at least just two feets!! Well, obviously I’m a birder and a guide and finally had time to take a video of a bird many tours already see.
