The Nau House is a typical Algarvian house that has been recently renovated. It is located in the heart of the quiet and lovely village of Alcantarilha. This small village is strategically well located, just in the center of the Algarve coast, so you can easily explore the beauty of the region: to the west up to Sagres by the coast, or you can explore the Serra do Monchique inshore; and to the east up to Villa Real de Sto. Antonio by the coast.

The Nau House is located a few minutes, by car, to the following attractions: Aqualand and Zoomarine water parks; The Krazy World Zoo, Fiesa the sand sculpture exhibition, Algarve Shopping Mall, and to the several beaches such as Praia Grande de Pêra, Praia dos Salgados, Praia de Armação de Pera, Praia Nossa Sra. Da Rocha and the beautiful Praia da Marinha.
A short walking distance from the house, you can visit the NossaSenhora da Conceição church as well as the Capela dos Ossos (Bone Chapel) built in the XVI century.
Near the house, as well, you can find a post office, a small market, a coffee shop where you can buy international newspapers and magazines; and a little grocery store. Also in the entrance of Alcantarilha you can find the Aldi supermarket where you can go easily by car or walking if you wish.
The nearest restaurants are: “A Cisterna”, “O Cantinho” (both in front of the church) and “A Marizinha”.
