More immigrants are leaving Portugal due to high rent, low salaries, AIMA delays, and other challenges.

Some TVDE drivers have stopped working, with reports claiming around 1,000 drivers left Lisbon in one week.

Hotels, restaurants, and elderly care homes also depend heavily on immigrant workers.

Experts warn that Portugal could face worker shortages if more immigrants continue to leave.

🟡There were already rules, employment contracts, active job search, training and even socially useful activity.
🟡What this Government is doing is not a moral revolution. It's political propaganda at the expense of the poorest.
And there's a simple question that no one can answer!!
🟡If the work is really useful and necessary, why is there no contract and a decent salary?
Because working with schedules, tasks, supervision and obligation doesn't stop being work just because it's paid through a miserable allowance.
🟡A decent society fights poverty by creating dignified employment, serious social support and real opportunities, not turning survival into blackmail.
🟡The trick is very old, it has a clear aim to make poor workers hate the poor even more, while those who profit from low wages (bosses) and take full benefit from the parallel economy, for those, precariousness and exploitation remains untouchable.
