A manutenção recente dos nossos suportes de estacionamento para bicicletas (modelo Sheffield) insere-se numa estratégia mais ampla de consolidação da mobilidade ativa na Ilha Terceira.

Acreditamos que o desenvolvimento do turismo sustentável exige mais do que discurso — exige infraestrutura adequada, consistência operacional e compromisso contínuo.

Infraestruturas simples, robustas e funcionais são parte essencial de um ecossistema que valoriza a bicicleta como meio de transporte, experiência turística e ferramenta de descarbonização.

Reconhecemos igualmente o papel da Câmara Municipal de Angra do Heroísmo no apoio e interesse na manutenção destas estruturas.

Em coerência com a nossa visão, realizámos esta intervenção deslocando-nos de bicicleta.
Porque liderar pelo exemplo é parte da responsabilidade.

Continuamos a trabalhar para posicionar a Terceira como um destino de referência em mobilidade ativa no contexto atlântico.

The recent maintenance of our Sheffield-style bicycle parking stands is part of a broader strategy to strengthen active mobility on Terceira Island.

We believe that sustainable tourism requires more than messaging — it requires proper infrastructure, operational consistency and long-term commitment.

Simple, robust and functional cycling infrastructure is essential to building an ecosystem where the bicycle is valued as transport, as a tourism experience, and as a decarbonisation tool.

We also acknowledge the role of the Câmara Municipal de Angra do Heroísmo in supporting policies and initiatives that encourage soft mobility within the municipality.

In alignment with our principles, we travelled by bicycle to carry out this intervention.
Leadership begins with example.

We remain committed to positioning Terceira as a benchmark destination for active mobility in the Atlantic.

Sometimes people ask us if there are bike lanes on Terceira Island.
