The beach at Burgau....approx 15 mins from Lagos. A wonderful small, quaint....undeveloped beach with some cracking waves on the right day. Lifeguards in high season and a nice bar, restaurant on the beach for more relaxed activities. A nice trip, coupled with Sagres, Ponta da Piedade...a great day out!

Another fresh discovery approx 30mins drive from Casa Luessa. Grab a great view of the portuguese landscape away from the coast with a visit to the newly opened boardwalk in the village of Alferce. Great scenery and a walk across a short rope bridge a la Indiana Jones. A nice 1/2 day trip.

Queen of the Night cuttings taken from Casa Luessa in Sep 2022. 7 cuttings returned 7 flourishing plants doing well indoors in the limited Irish sunshine. Slow start...rooting compound, loosely packed compost...watered once per week....and there you go.
Previous post shows magnificent overnight flowering...which hopefully will occur here in the coming months.
